What is e-TempMail?
e-TempMail is a free disposable email service. It gives you a working email address instantly — no sign-up, no password — that you can use to receive emails and then discard. The inbox deletes itself automatically after a period of inactivity.
Is e-TempMail free?
Yes. The core service is completely free. We support it through non-intrusive advertising.
Do I need an account?
No. Your inbox is tied to your browser session. No account, password, or real email address is required.

Using the Inbox
How do I get a temporary email address?
Open e-tempmail.com. A working address is generated automatically. Copy it and use it anywhere. Incoming emails appear in the inbox below the address.
How long does the inbox last?
Inboxes are active for up to 24 hours of inactivity. After expiry, the inbox and all its contents are permanently deleted.
Can I choose my own email address?
Yes. Click "New", enter your preferred username, and select a domain. If the username is taken, try a different one.
Can I have multiple inboxes?
Yes. Open e-TempMail in multiple browser tabs to manage several addresses at once.
Can I send emails from my temporary address?
No. e-TempMail is receive-only. You cannot send outgoing emails. This prevents misuse for spam.
Can I receive attachments?
Yes, in most cases. Emails with attachments are delivered and downloadable. Very large attachments may be rejected.
Privacy and Security
Is e-TempMail private?
Your inbox is not linked to your identity. However, it is not an encrypted private mailbox — it is similar to a public mailbox. Anyone with the exact address can view the inbox. Do not use it for sensitive or financial communications.
Does e-TempMail log my IP address?
Standard server logs including IP addresses are collected for security and retained for a maximum of 30 days, then permanently deleted. We do not sell or share log data. See our Privacy Policy.
Is my connection encrypted?
Yes. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
Compatibility
Why is my address rejected by some websites?
Some platforms maintain blocklists of known disposable email domains. We rotate domains regularly to reduce this, but acceptance cannot be guaranteed everywhere. For long-term services, use your real email or an alias service.
Can I use e-TempMail for Gmail, Facebook, or banking?
No. These platforms actively block disposable email domains. For any service requiring long-term access, use your permanent email address.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. e-TempMail works in any modern mobile browser without an app download.
Technical
Why isn't my email arriving?
Verify the address is correct. Most emails arrive within seconds. Try the Refresh button. If nothing arrives after 2 minutes, try generating a new address — some senders block known disposable domains.
Are emails deleted when I close my browser?
No. Emails remain until the 24-hour inactivity timer expires, regardless of whether your browser is open.
How do I report abuse?
